In Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi Level Two, you will learn:

  • Principles and theories of Tai Chi and Qigong;
  • The 18 movements of the Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi 2nd Set;
  • The Tai Chi Stance;
  • Techniques to increase your sensitivity to Qi;
  • Advance techniques for  improving the Tai Chi and Qigong training;
  • How to increase Neijing (internal power);
  • An exercise to correct the spinal alignment;
  • Inner Alchemy Meditation (beginner to intermediate level)

You will benefit most form this workshop if you are able to learn and practice from Sifu Cheung’s home-study videos : Level 2 Qigong Mode & Tai Chi Posture Requirements and Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi Set 2. (again please check the links are for level 2) These are not compulsory and we will cover all the contents in the workshop, but they are very helpful if you intend to teach this Qigong.

 

Optional Individual Assessment

Those who intend to teach Shibashi Set 2 in the lineage of Sifu Wing Cheung should enrol in the assessment which takes place at the end of the workshop.  The purpose of the assessment is to ensure that you fully understand all the concepts and techniques covered. Assessments will be held either on the Sunday afternoon of the workshop or by subsequent submission of a video. The Assessment has 2 Parts:

A) Recall and demonstrate all 18 movements of the second set of Shibashi
B) Demonstrate the Level Two Qigong Mode and Posture techniques learned during the course

A Level II Instructor certificate will be issued by the Tai Chi and Qigong & Feng Shui Institute to those who successfully pass the assessment.

Prerequisites: 

Completed the Comprehensive Tai Chi Qigong (Instructor) Level 1 Training Workshop
OR
Self study the Set 1 Shibashi and Qigong Mode Home Study Courses.”

The Level II workshop details Shibashi Set 2 and helps you become more attuned to Qi. This course also advances your knowledge of Tai Chi and Qigong principles and Inner Alchemy theory and meditation.

Sifu Cheung has devoted his life to spreading the benefits of Qigong and has trained hundreds of Tai Chi Qigong instructors worldwide. After training with him for the past 14 years,  Annie Cryar and Catherine Burnett are teaching Sifu Cheung’s courses as senior instructors of his Tai Chi Qigong and Feng Shui Institute. There are now several versions of this hugely popular Qigong, but Sifu Wing Cheung  has an impeccable lineage. He was originally a student of Master Wu Jian Hua, a colleague of Professor Lin-Hou-Sheng, the co-creator of Shibashi Qigong at the Shanghai Qigong Research Institute
